I typically don't have time to feed my plants, but I know many CP growers that do. My sundews always have a ton of bugs stuck to them - the "dew" is an extremely sticky substance (the official term is "mucilage"). When prey comes onto the leaf, it instantly gets stuck and can't escape, The plant senses a chemical reaction which causes the hairs to close over the prey. Sometimes the whole leaf can move too. You can read more about sundews here.
