It's kind of a running joke among carnivorous plant growers that Drosera capensis are extremely hardy and kind of get into everything. One time several years ago, I was at California Carnivores and overheard Damon telling a customer that Drosera capensis is a great starter plant. He said something like, "This plant will flower and then produce, like, a billion seeds" and I couldn't help but chuckle because even though it's an exaggeration, it definitely can feel like that sometimes.
A while back, I posted a photo of Drosera burmannii seeds, which will give you an idea of just how tiny they are.
And this photo of my live sphagnum moss with capensis peeking out is just one example of many plants that have these unplanned capensis growing in them. This tray is in the tropical section of my greenhouse, separated by a curtain of bubble wrap from any capensis, and yet here it is, growing in my moss! Plants are certainly amazing.
